About Me

Who am I? Simply put I’m Sarah-Jane Simpson and I’m a writer.

Need a little more? I’m a recent graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University where I studied BA (Hons) Film and Media Studies.
Whilst at university I was lucky enough to find myself on a fantastic course where I was able to study: scriptwriting, narrative structure and genre.
Other course units I studied were: horror, science fiction, fantasy and fairy tales, philosophy, graphic novels, television, youth cultures, the history of broadcast media, and the history of film.
This brilliant range of study means I can write on a variety of topics whether you want a script, a review or an academic piece.

My current writing experience comes from my academic essays and blogging. Ideally I would love to work as a screenwriter for television however my enthusiasm for writing is such that any experience would be welcomed.

I’m a creative and imaginative person who has always enjoyed a passion for television and films. Hard-working and friendly, I would fit neatly into any work environment and would perform any task with efficiently and a smile.
