My Grandad turned 80 this year and when we asked him what he wanted he told us he didn’t want any presents.
He said at 80 he had all he ever wanted. A home, a family, what more could he want.
He did ask us however to donate £5 to Smile Train, which we all did.
At a meal for his 80th he informed us all (gathered family and friends) that just in that evening with our £5 donations we had raised enough to put a smile on the face of three children.
I don’t usually make posts like this but as a 80th birthday present to my Grandad I’m spreading the word of this amazing charity.
